Here is the link to ABC TV News at 7pm 25/11/10 breaking the story (ABC radio was actually first) on the NSW Government introducing legislation tomorrow to enshrine ethics classes in law. (It made 3rd story with a live cross to parliament house).

With the power of Labor and the Greens in the upper house almost definite until the election after next, the opposition will not be able to change the law and thus ethics can run for at least the first term of the new Government from next March.
An even sweeter victory.

Who are we?
parents4ethics is a group of parents who share a common view that children not attending Special Religious Education (SRE) classes should be provided with an alternative. parents4ethics demand an end to discrimination in the public education system, where children who opt out of SRE classes are not allowed education or instruction on ethics, morals, values, or religions.
